Recently, international pop icon Lady Gaga did an interview with Vanity Fair magazine in which she admitted to having used drugs in her past.  The interesting part was that she also admitted that she still does cocaine occasionally.

“I wont lie it’s occasional…and when I say occasional I mean maybe a couple times a year,” said the singer.

Although Gaga realizes that she is a celebrity and role model to many young fans and upcoming artists alike  she says that she does not want her fans to emulate that aspect of her lifestyle.

“I don’t want my fans to think they have to be that way to be great. It’s in the past. It was a low point, and it led to disaster.”

While Gaga says that she does do cocaine at times she also says that she is terrified of heroine.

It is unclear what exactly made Gaga admit her drug habit to the public now but at least she is still deterring her supporters from drug use which is a positive step in the right direction of her own life.
